According to the data announced in INC, the total expected harvest worldwide is 1 million 393 thousand 700 tons, with 169 thousand 900 tons of stocks transferred from the 2021-2022 season. While it ranks first in hazelnut production with 760 thousand tons, Turkey is followed by Italy with 150 thousand tons and the USA with 86 thousand tons. According to INC data, Turkey’s total hazelnut harvest is 785 thousand tons, with 105 thousand tons of stock transferred from last year. This shows that 61 percent of the worldwide production will be met from Turkey.
