In Ukraine, outraged by the profit of “Gazprom”

The head of the company “Gas Transportation Systems of Ukraine” Serhiy Makogon was outraged by the data on the increase in the profits of the Russian “Gazprom”. The monopolist’s net profit has grown one and a half times over the year.

If last year the company showed a loss of 558.226 billion, then for the first nine months of this year, the profit is 1.055 trillion rubles. Revenue and cost of sales have grown.

Makogon is confident that the “excess profit” was obtained at the expense of European consumers. And the Russian supplier created the energy crisis in Europe artificially, as it dominates this market.

Energy prices in Europe have quadrupled in two months. The all-time high was recorded on October 6. Then for one thousand cubic meters they offered 1937 dollars.

Experts are confident that the rise in the price of raw materials is associated with the low level of filling of European storage facilities, as well as the high demand for LNG in Asia. In addition, eight billion cubic meters of fuel were not supplied to Europe from the United States and the Middle East. After President Vladimir Putin ordered to increase the volume of raw materials in European storage facilities, energy prices went down.
