However, a doctor at the city hospital refused to provide her with first aid, Ukrainian media reported.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Suchkova and Zina Belaya streets.
“It was preliminarily established that the driver of Daewoo, a serviceman of one of the military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during the turn to the left did not give an advantage in movement to the Volkswagen Polo, which was moving towards him. The blow fell on the driver’s side of the Volkswagen. The car bounced off the sidewalk where people were standing. The child of 2018 was injured, ”the message says.
The girl was taken to the city hospital, which is located near the accident site, but the doctor refused to provide her with medical assistance.
After the doctor’s refusal, the child was taken to the Novomoskovsk central regional hospital. A few minutes after she was handed over to doctors, the girl died.
The mayor of Novomoskovsk Sergei Reznik said that the doctor had already been fired.
