In the Lviv region, the commission on technogenic and ecological safety and emergencies has decided to ban catering establishments from cooking perishable food during the warm period of the year.

The corresponding decision was made in connection with a mass disease of an acute intestinal infection during a holiday in the settlement of Kulikov, reports press service Lviv Regional State Administration.

The incident with the poisoning, which led to the disease of more than 20 people, was defined as an emergency object level.

“To prevent such a situation in the future, the leaders of districts, urban and rural communities were instructed to oblige the heads of catering establishments, food trade to prevent the preparation and sale of epidemically dangerous dishes during the warm period of the year,” the statement said.

In particular, we are talking about salads seasoned with mayonnaise and sour cream, as well as confectionery with custard.
