Four people, including two women, died of corona symptoms in Satkhira on the same day. Three of them died in the same village.

The deceased have been identified as Sajjad Sardar, 45, son of Hatem Ali Sardar of Hariharnagar village in Kheshra union of the upazila, Karimon Bibi, 65, wife of Dabir Moral and Mohammad Kadam Ali Gazi. Islam Gazi (50) and Md. Chandkati village of Magura Union. Shawkat Hossain’s wife Mahmuda Khatun (45). They died on Sunday (July 4) afternoon to evening.

Relatives of the deceased said that all of them were suffering from fever, cold, cough and sore throat for some time. They died at their home on Sunday with corona symptoms. None of them were examined or taken to hospital for fear of publicity.
