In Russia, officials decided to sell the land for development, but they “prevented” the lake. However, the clever Russians found a way out – they just “painted” the pond on the map of buildings and still managed to earn money by selling the site.
This was reported in the Telegram-channel “Mash in Siberia”.
The incident occurred in Novosibirsk. Near Lake Sribne, an elite residential complex suddenly appeared, which caused problems for the residents of the nearby old high-rise buildings. People could not get to their homes because new buildings were built right next to the lake and the road was blocked.
People decided to check the cadastral map and determine whether the building near the lake is legal. On the map, they saw that the LCD is partially on the water, that is, the developer allegedly took over part of the lake. However, there is no reservoir on the map of the building itself – it was simply “painted over”.
Construction scams not only broke the law, they also deprived people of the opportunity to drive to their homes. The owner of the residential complex, built near the lake earlier, sued the developer, who decided to “squeeze” in the already occupied territory. Now law enforcement officers will deal with the situation. However, whether officials who “painted” the lake for profit will be punished remains a mystery.
