Suara.com – Director General of Taxes at the Ministry of Finance (DJP Kemenkeu) Suryo Utomo said the budget requirement to develop a core system of tax administration or core tax next year it will reach Rp 328 billion.
Suryo said this statement while attending a working meeting with Commission XI DPR RI on Wednesday (22/9/2021).
“For 2022, most of the budget will be shifted (from 2021 to 2022) to IDR 328 billion,” said Suryo.
Suryo explained, the total budget needed to make the system core tax until it is done, requires a budget of around Rp. 2.4 trillion. To procure the budget for the system, it is carried out on a regular basis multi years.

It is known that DGT is currently developing a core tax system or to support services that are user friendly Taxpayers (WP) and simplify DGT’s own business processes.
This is done as an effort to improve the economy in optimizing state revenues for 2020-2024 with an efficient automation system rather than manual work that takes a long time.
The procurement of the Core Tax Administration System (CTAS) was already market sounding (market study) on 4-6 February 2020 ago by the procurement agent Pricewaterhouse Coopers Consulting Indonesia (PwC Indonesia) which was selected by the Minister of Finance according to KMK-939/KMK.03/2019 dated December 27, 2019.
“Because in 2020 the initial budget selection that has been used is only IDR 37 billion, for 2021 the ceiling is IDR 225 billion, including that which has been shifted to 2022, which is IDR 328 billion,” said Suryo.
Later, said Suryo, with this system, the DGT will integrate 21 business processes of the tax authorities from registration to law enforcement into one unified system.
