On the proposal of the director Srbijagas Dušan Bajatović that the authorities in the government find a way to enable consumers whose houses are in the process of legalization to introduce gas, in the relevant ministry they state for Tanjug that all institutions should do their part of the job – their state, and public companies theirs, in the interest of citizens and exclusively in accordance with the law.
– Instead of dealing with topics for which he is not responsible, the director JP Srbijagas it should take care that the company he heads operates efficiently and first completes the already started gasification projects on which there is a significant delay, as well as the connection to the gas of already legalized facilities – they say.
Bajatović stated that half of the 40,000 households registered for the gas connection in installments that he offered Srbijagas are requests for the connection of illegal facilities and that this problem needs to be solved.
– I have no solution for that. The only thing is to suggest to those who decide on that in the Government of Serbia to consider that those who have submitted requests according to the law on legalization, and legalization is possible to get some kind of document on the basis of which they would connect gas – he said.
The ministry states that they are The Law on Energy and the Law on Planning and Construction are very explicit and precise when it comes to connecting households or housing facilities to the gas network.
