Other countries have added Slovakia to the list of risk regions. Compulsory quarantine awaits Slovaks upon arrival in their territory.
Upon arrival from Slovakia to Switzerland and Liechtenstein, a mandatory 10-day quarantine is to apply from 1 February. Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs (MZVEZ) SR informed about it on its website.
At the same time, the Ministry points out that in the territory of these countries, the obligation to wear a veil applies in all publicly accessible indoor areas.
“Including railway stations, train platforms, airports and all public transport stops,” specified MZVEZ SR. The maximum number of people who can meet in private or in public is five.
Mandatory domestic quarantine also applies in case of arrival from Switzerland and Liechtenstein to the territory of the Slovak Republic.
“This does not apply to persons who, upon entering the territory of the Slovak Republic, are able to prove a negative result of the RT-PCR test for COVID-19 performed in laboratories outside the territory of the Slovak Republic, not older than 72 hours,” added the ministry.
