The PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE of BiH has filed an indictment against four people on suspicion that as members of an organized group they smuggled tobacco products, damaging the BiH budget by 608,500 KM.
The accused are Mile Ilić (36) from Bijeljina, Zoran Jovanović (48) from Šamac, and the customs officers of the branch office in Šamac, Špiro Subotić (63) and Ahmed Beširević (38). They are charged with several criminal acts, such as organizing a group for distributing uncustomed goods, smuggling, illicit trade in tobacco products, giving or receiving gifts and other forms of benefits, and abuse of official position.
