A historian, designer and publicist is behind the long-term project I am a woman with a strong and originally conceived women’s theme. Lilia Khousnoutdinova s kunsthistoričkou Michaela Cásková. It shows women as strong personalities. The first part, entitled I am a woman, I am a goddess, focused on female archetypes and Slavic mythology. The second part, I am a woman, I am Europe, is full of women who have shaped the history of Europe. It is also being prepared as a book with charming illustrations by Latvian artist Levy Ozola at Slovart Publishing House.

The third part of the cycle, entitled I am a woman, I am a priestess, focuses on women who have played a role in European history, especially in the spiritual field. It is reminiscent of strong women of the past, who experienced a journey full of indomitable determination to discover and accept their feminine qualities, which they then applied in their fields of activity. That’s why the name includes the controversial word priestess.

The characters in the original large-format photographs portrayed celebrities who are close to their historical prototypes. Well-known fashion photographer Ivy E. Morwen stood behind the lens.


The guests were able to admire, for example, singer Bára Basiková as Johanka z Arku, model Helena Houdová as a Nordic shaman or Lucia Vondráčková as Boudicca, the wife of the King of Icica, who instigated the uprising against Nero’s Rome. These unique photos will also become part of an undated diary.

In addition to a number of popular actresses and actors, celebrities also arrived at the grand event, which was moderated by Olga Lounová and Marek Vašut. The program also included an auction of art photographs for the benefit of the DEBRA ČR foundations, the Sun for All Endowment Fund and the newly established Propolis 33 Endowment Fund. In the pleasant atmosphere of the gala evening, we managed to auction CZK 155,333, which will help good things. Visitors’ attention could not miss the Hisense laser TVs with futuristic display technology as original artifacts that are well understood by the contemporary art gallery.
