A young man named Siraj Sheikh bathed in milk after breaking up with his love-married wife in Faridpur’s Boalmari.

He bathed in milk and purified himself and thanked the great Lord. The incident took place on Friday afternoon in Baikhir Chowrasta area of ​​Chatul Union of Upazila. This incident has created a sensation in the area. Siraj Sheikh is the son of Mujibar Sheikh of Baikhir village. He is an autorickshaw mechanic by profession.

It is known that 13 years ago, he fell in love with Iti Begum, the daughter of Afsar Sheikh of the same village and got married. They have an 11-year-old son. Since marriage, due to family quarrels, the two were not getting along. Two years ago, wife Iti Begum took a job at a local physiotherapy clinic despite her husband’s disapproval. The husband and wife got into a conflict over this. Due to conflict, she moved from her husband’s house to her father’s house and filed a case against her husband and in-laws, alleging dowry and abuse of women. Recently, after being freed from legal trouble, he took a bath with a cup of milk and thanked God.

In this regard, Siraj said, Divorcing my wife, she was settled with 70,000 Taka and 2,65,000 Taka owed to her father. But the divorced wife wasted a lot of money and caused me a lot of pain. So when the problem arose, I decided that if I get rid of this adulteration, I will bathe with 1 maund of cow’s milk and perform Umrah Hajj this year. So I bathed with milk. However, it was not possible to take their statement as Iti’s family did not agree to speak about it.

Confirming the truth of the incident, Chatul Union Parishad (UP) Chairman Muhammad Rafiqul Islam said that Siraj and Iti’s marriage has been divorced. I heard that Siraj bathed in milk due to the settlement of the case.
