If everything continued as usual for Huawei, the company’s latest flagship P60 and P60 Pro had been sold by operators and online stores in Sweden, but the brand has become obscure after all the sanctions that made the phones lack 5G and the Play Store.
The three models Huawei introduced today; The P60, P60 Pro and P60 Art, have the same basic hardware but we will focus on the Pro. The device offers a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with LTPO 1-120Hz and 1220 x 2700 pixels. The panel is protected by Kunlun glass.
Like Huawei’s latest foldable, the P60 Pro offers a 4G version of last year’s fastest chip from Qualcomm, i.e. Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. The battery has 4815mAh and can be fast-charged over 88W with cable or over 50W wirelessly.
The model with the unusually shaped camera module on the back in the pictures is a special edition called P60 Art, which offers a slightly larger silicon-carbon battery with 5100mAh. The designs are IP68 rated and all the phones run Harmony OS 3.1.
The P60 Pro has a 48MP main camera with RYYB sensor and optical image stabilization. According to Huawei, the camera has an industry-leading light input with an aperture number between f1.4 and f4.0 and automatic switching depending on the subject and environment.
The camera system is rounded off by a 13MP super wide-angle camera and by a 48MP telephoto lens with OIS, 3.5x optical zoom and a total of 100x zoom. The telephoto lens has an f2.1 aperture. Huawei claims the telephoto lens has the industry’s largest light transmission, just like the main camera.
The entry price for the P60 Pro is the equivalent of SEK 10,555, which gives 256GB of storage.
