How often do you leave your iPhone unlocked?

It happens that you watch correspondence, videos or memes, you are distracted, you automatically put your smartphone down and leave, forgetting to block it. Well, if there is an auto-block, and if not, anyone can take your iPhone and read messages, see contacts in a notebook, or even check your browsing history in a browser.

So now I’ll show you how you can easily set up the inclusion of the lock of any iPhone immediately after launching applications from the desktop. That is, someone taps on the WhatsApp icon, and the smartphone, instead of opening the messenger, is blocked.

In this way, you can additionally secure yourself in a large team or even at home, where small children can grab their father’s left smartphone and press it miscellaneous.

Let’s set up this feature.

Blocking access to applications using Commands

You will need the Teams app, which you can download for free from App Store. But most likely, you already have it installed, just enter the word “commands” in the search bar on your iPhone and open this application.

In the application:

1. Open the “Automation” tab, then “Create an automation for yourself”

2. Select Application

3. Select the application that will block your iPhone from running and click “Next”

4. Click “Add Action” and type “block” in the search bar. Select the “Lock Screen” script that appears

5. Turn off “Ask before launch” and click “Finish”

Now, the same in pictures:

From now on, as soon as someone tries to open “Contacts” on my iPhone, the smartphone will be blocked and it will be possible to unlock it using FaceID or a password.

Yes, the script will work even if I try to open this application myself, but it’s not difficult for me to unlock my gadget once again, it’s a matter of one second.

But I know for sure that my contacts, photos and messages cannot be opened to strangers, even if I forgot my iPhone in a cafe, or in any other crowded place.
