It has been 3 days since ‘Miya Bhai’ of Bengali film, brave freedom fighter and Member of Parliament Akbar Hossain Pathan Farooq has gone to the country of no return. After the death of the actor, the amount of debt he left in the practice is extensive. Rumors in various media including social media, Farooq defaulted on a loan of 5000 crores.
How true is this rumor? Finally the hero’s wife Farhana Pathan told the truth. He claimed to the media, ‘Farooq took a loan of Tk 24 crore, not five thousand crore. He has also paid two crore rupees out of it.’
Besides, the hero’s wife has requested everyone, ‘No one should spread rumors without knowing.’ Farhana is very broken by the death of her husband. Therefore, he is not willing to say anything in detail about this controversial issue. He said that if the situation is normal, he will give details about it.
Meanwhile, according to various media sources, heroic freedom fighter actor Farooq has a bank loan of around 101 crores with interest, not 5000 crores.
However, on the day of the hero’s burial, producer Khorshed Alam Khosru claimed that Farooq had only taken a loan of Rs 1 crore. Instead, the property he has mortgaged to the bank is worth much more. The bank loan will be paid off by selling the mortgaged property, but the money left there will go to his family.
Last Monday at 8:30 PM Bangladesh time, MP actor Farooq died while undergoing treatment at Singapore’s Mount Elizabeth Hospital. He was suffering from a rare neurological disease called GBS for a long time. He was being treated in Singapore. But the last defense did not happen.
Farooq’s first funeral was held in Singapore on Monday night. The body was brought to Dhaka on Tuesday morning. First taken to Nayak’s house in Uttara. From there to the central Shaheed Minar. There the last respect was paid to Farooq, a guard of honor was given.

After that, Farooq was laid to rest next to his father’s grave at the family graveyard in Kaliganj, Gazipur after Asr on Tuesday.
Until his death, this legendary actor was a Member of Parliament for Dhaka-17 Constituency. In 2018, he participated in the election from this seat on the nomination of Bangladesh Awami League. However, due to Farooq’s death, the seat has become vacant for the time being. The residents of Gulshan-Banani are waiting for who will replace him.
