On Wednesday (January 12), the government approved a draft of measures in connection with the coronavirus variant omicron. This will introduce a new OP plus regime. What does this mean and who will meet it?

Do you meet the OP plus regime?

New OP plus mode will meet only a person with three doses of vaccination against COVID-19, a person who has overcome the disease and has two doses of vaccination or with two doses of vaccine and with a test.

According to the approved material, OP plus means persons who have received three doses of vaccination against COVID-19 or have two doses of vaccine and have undergone a test.

In the case of a PCR test, it must not be older than 72 hours, in the case of an antigen test it must not be older than 48 hours. The regimen also includes people who have two doses of the vaccine and have overcome COVID-19 no more than 180 days ago.

The new regime also applies to children aged two to 12 and two months with a test. The duration of the test will be the same as for adults. Older children up to the age of 18 will need to be fully vaccinated and tested in order to be included in the regime.

Who belongs under the OP and OTP regime?

Under režimom OP means fully vaccinated persons, with no more than nine months from the last dose. It also includes people with three doses of the vaccine who completed the third dose less than nine months ago. The regimen includes people who have overcome COVID-19 more than 180 days ago and have a single dose of the vaccine. This is the case if the vaccine was given within 180 days of the PCR confirmed disease for nine months after the COVID-19.

The regime also includes persons after undergoing COVID-19 confirmed by a PCR test not older than 90 days, as well as children under 12 years of age and temporarily or permanently contraindicated persons on the basis of a uniform form with a valid test.

Under OTP mode only those who have been completely vaccinated, tested or have survived COVID-19 in the last 90 days are meant. By baseline mode is meant everyone regardless of vaccination, overcoming the disease or the result of testing.

Life in OP plus

A new regime that will enter until 19 January, will cover high – risk mass events such as weddings, kary, celebrations, parties, balls, discos or mass events in public catering establishments.

The event can be attended by a maximum of 20 people and a list of participants will be mandatory.

The OP plus regime will also apply to fitness. A maximum of 50 people can be in the operation area at a time, or at least 15 square meters per person must be designated.

OP plus also applies to the area of ​​wellness, water parks and spas, unless it is a health indication. A maximum of 50 people or 15 square meters per person can be set aside in these facilities.

The new regime will also apply to accommodation facilities. In this case, the number of guests will be unlimited. Use of the base mode in accommodation facilities will be prohibited.
