Ann Runnel, the founder and CEO of Reverse Resources, and Kädi Ristkok, the new head of Cleantech Estonia, will be visiting this time in the “Cleantech” program.

In the first part of the show, we mainly focus on textile waste and how an Estonian start-up has reached Bangladesh to help reduce the environmental footprint of the textile industry there. In the second part of the program, Kädi Ristkok, the former head of the climate department of the Ministry of the Environment, now the head of Cleantech Estonia, will be visiting, with whom we will talk about the future of both carbon emissions and green technology.

Looking at the future of green technology, Ristkok believes that it is important to find those places where Estonia would have its own niche, and then start offering these products outside of Estonia.

“Here, a little longer perspective comes into play, to look at what we already have and what our researchers and start-upcan offer more,” says Ristkok. “Currently, money is drying up in the market, but the part that goes to green technologies is growing more and more quickly. It means there is a serious need.”
