Houthi landmines injure 17 civilians, including women and children, south of Hodeidah – Tuhama Press

Today, Monday, 17 civilians were injured by the explosion of a landmine left by the Houthi militia east of Al-Qataba area in Al-Khokha district, south of Hodeidah, west of Yemen.

Local and medical sources said that 17 civilians, including women and children, were wounded in separate bodies by the explosion of a landmine left behind by the Houthis in a Hilux car they were transporting on their way back from a wedding party.

The injured were taken to the field hospital in Al-Khokha to receive the necessary first aid and treatment.

It is noteworthy that this heinous Houthi crime comes within the framework of the militias’ escalation of their criminal practices and acts against civilians in Hodeidah Governorate.

During the past few days, dozens of families were displaced from the villages of Al-Tuhayta District, due to the Houthi deliberate shelling of residential neighborhoods, according to the joint forces’ media.
