As the successor to the Honor Band 6, the manufacturer offers the Honor Band 7 an elegant wearable that supports functions of a smartwatch – such as displaying notifications. However, it is primarily a fitness tracker.
Honor Band 7: design and features
The sports bracelet comes with a 1.47-inch AMOLED screen in a slightly curved shape and has a resolution of 194 x 368 pixels. According to the manufacturer, the case is finished with a layer of metal powder.
An acceleration sensor, a gyrometer and an optical sensor are installed, with which both the oxygen saturation and the heart rate can be measured. If the tape measures unusual values, the user is automatically notified.
The tracker is waterproof up to a pressure of 5 ATM, and can therefore also be worn while swimming. 96 sport modes are available for optimized training.

A GNSS module (Global Navigation Satellite System) is not on board – a precise recording of the distance covered is therefore only possible with a paired smartphone. After pairing with a smartphone, displaying notifications and controlling music playback and the camera are also supported.
With normal use, the battery life should be up to 14 days. If the wearable is used intensively, Honor states a service life of up to 10 days.

Im Honor online shop the fitness tracker is offered for just under 60 euros. Although the manufacturer advertises the colors pink, green and black, the wearable is currently only available in Meteorite Black.
