Honda’s new sports touring arrives on October 21st

The parallel twin unit with a volume of 1,084 cubic meters, as found on the Honda Africa Twin 1100 model, is an excellent unit. So it’s no surprise that Honda uses it on other motorcycles like the Rebel 1100.

As things stand, we will soon see this engine on another two-wheeler.

Honda has posted a teaser video on YouTube, announcing a “new touring era” for motorcycles. A model that Japanese companies will wear the NT1100X on the European market.

We are waiting for a sports touring machine with a special emphasis on touring, designed to easily cope with the ascent to the Alps, with 101 hp available.

The teaser itself doesn’t reveal much, though we know what to expect. There will be side suitcases, a top box (both as additional options), 17-inch wheels, as well as being similar in size and weight to the Africa Twin model. We expect more bodywork for better protection and improved ergonomics for long journeys.

As for the machine announcing the “new touring era”, we won’t have to wait long to see what Honda has prepared for us. The motorcycle will have its European premiere on October 21.

For now, there is no information about the price, although it is known that the American variant could arrive during the winter.
