DAPURPACU – PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) presents a new color for one of its flagship big bikes, the 2023 CMX500 Rebel alert. Three new colors are also offered.
The new colors include Pearl Smoky Gray, Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic and Candy Diesel Red, combined with brown 9-spoke rims.
With a tag of Rp. 201,688,000 on the road (OTR) in Jakarta, the price has increased by around Rp. 1 million with the arrival of the new colors.
Marketing Director of AHM, Octavianus Dwi, said Rebel continued to strengthen its position as one of the best-selling Honda big bikes by consumers in Indonesia.
He claims the presence of this new color choice to enhance the modern minimalist character, which is expected to support the freedom of the rider.
“The new color range that we present at Rebel is our appreciation for Rebel’s excellent reception by big bike lovers in Indonesia,” he said in an official broadcast, Friday.
The Honda Rebel is equipped with a 471 cc 8-valve liquid-cooled parallel twin-cylinder engine taken from the CBR500R engine, producing 45 hp of power with a peak torque of 43.6 Nm at 8,500 rpm.
Regarding comfort and safety, the Rebel still maintains the assist/slipper clutch feature to make it easier and smoother to move each gear.
The design is timeless and features wide tread tires combined with a low, sleek silhouette. Negative LCD meter panel display with easy-to-read blue backlight.
The 11.2 liter capacity tank supports the driver’s tilted position combined with the wide steering handlebars, allowing the rider to sit perfectly on the motorbike.
