Md. Abdur Rob (60), a heroic freedom fighter of Doarabazar upazila of Sunamganj, is no more. He is the son of late Abdus Chobhan of Anwarpur village in Laxmipur union of the upazila.

According to family sources, Anwar died at his home in the village around 2 am on Thursday (April 26). Freedom fighter Abdur Rob was suffering from various problems due to old age for a long time.

After the state janaza on Friday (April 29) at noon, the heroic freedom fighter Abdur Rob was buried at the graveyard near Anwarpur village.

Deputy Assistant Engineer of Doarbazar Upazila Public Health Engineering Department Md. Akkas Ali, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Doarabazar Police Station Devdulal Dhar, former Commander of Upazila Muktijoddha Sangsad Safar Ali and others were present at the occasion.
