In terms of performance, the RZ offered at launch, the 450th, promises 313 hp and 435 Nm of torque. With two electric motors, the vehicle is propelled from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 s, but the maximum speed is limited to 160 km/h.
The 71.4 kWh battery should allow this Lexus RZ 450e to travel more than 400 kilometers on a single charge, although this data has not yet been approved.
Finally, the RZ promises to be economical in electrons, with consumption limited to 18 kWh/100 km according to the manufacturer.
Marketing at the end of 2022
This Lexus RZ will be the direct rival of the Audi Q4 e-tron, Mercedes EQC and other Tesla Model Y. Also equipped with a semi-autonomous driving system, this RZ will have many arguments to make even if for the moment the prices are not yet known. The first deliveries are expected by the end of 2022.
