Here is (as if) the cheapest foldable smartphone in Poland. Motorola razr 40 and razr 40 Ultra officially

Two new Motorola foldable smartphones have just had a global premiere. Here are the razr 40 and the razr 40 Ultra.

This is a rather unusual situation, because Motorola used to show its top smartphones in China, and only many weeks later in other countries. Meanwhile, the razr 40 series goes to Poland equally with other parts of the world.

The prices of the latest smartphones are as follows:

• Motorola razr 40 (8/256 GB) – PLN 3999;
• Motorola razr 40 Ultra (8/256 GB) – PLN 5,499.

Both models are cheaper than all previous generations. Not only that – the razr 40 model is the cheapest foldable smartphone that has ever appeared in Poland. Although, it must be emphasized, we are talking about starting prices, because competitive Samsung phones from 2022 and 2021 can be bought cheaper today.

Motorola razr 40 Ultra is now available for pre-order, which will last until June 14. People who choose it can take advantage of the old phone exchange program. As part of the promotion, Motorola offers a guaranteed PLN 1,000 to the basic valuation of the device.

Information on the availability of the cheaper razr 40 model is to be revealed “at a later date”.

Motorola razr 40 Ultra is a foldable smartphone with the largest external screen on the market

Motorola razr 40 Ultra is dethroning the OPPO Find N2 Flip model. Its external screen is so large that it covers almost the entire flap and even surrounds the camera lenses and the LED flash.

Motorola boasts that the panel it uses is not only the largest (3.6 inches), but also has the highest refresh rate (144 Hz), the highest resolution (1066 x 1056) and the greatest interactivity.

No software restrictions are imposed on the external panel, because all installed applications and the full system keyboard can be displayed on it. However, the manufacturer reserves that some apps may not perfectly match the unusual 1: 1 aspect ratio and screen holes.

In addition, Motorola adds to the Razr 40 Ultra a handful of special function panels that give convenient access to key functions from a smaller panel.

Of course, the new smartphone can function as its own tripod after incomplete opening, allowing you to take selfies using the dual main camera. Thanks to the Ready For Motorola platform, the razr 40 Ultra can be wirelessly paired with a PC and turned into a good quality webcam.

Motorola is available in three color versions developed in cooperation with Pantone. The black and blue housings are made of frosted glass, and the magenta housings are made of vegan leather.

Motorola razr 40 has a smaller external screen and a poorer specification

I have already mentioned that the Motorola razr 40 starts from the lowest price level in the history of folded smartphones. No wonder it was paid for with compromises.

Compared to the Ultra variant, the Motorola razr 40 primarily has a much smaller external display, a weaker chip, slower memory or a lower-class camera (although you can’t see it in the numbers). However, it makes up for it with a larger battery.
