Long-term politician Ivan Varga, who served on the National Council from 2002 to 2016, died after long-term heart problems at the age of 68. The information was provided by the portal ereport.sk.

This is the second member of Smer-SD who has died. In February of this year, the public said goodbye to Ľubomír Petrák, a member of the NRSR and the mayor of Hurbanová Ves. Petrák was the face of the Direction for many years. He died at the age of 59.
