On Monday, November 22, 2021, the process of unconstitutional exclusion of some of the country’s citizens from social life was completed, and the Minister of Finance admitted without torture that the goal was to deliberately “make life uncomfortable” for unvaccinated citizens. In order to surrender and what is voluntary in the law, they began to make this bullying mandatory – otherwise they would not be allowed to live normally. If anyone told us lawyers a year ago, we would call him a fool.
The village has, resort
But I was quite prepared for my fight for basic constitutional values. A small hint of something similar appeared in 2017 and concerned the local government. At that time, Minister Karla Šlechtová declared that there were many municipalities in the Czech Republic, and then added the statement that “however, she does not want to reduce their number by abolishing them, but only (!) Merging them”. Which would be the same. Indirectly, she indicated that economic pressure would be used. This was frightening in the municipalities at the time, because many could not imagine the loss of newly acquired independence and the return of “resort villages”. Opposition began to form with the main argument – the constitutionally protected right to self-government. However, before the merger took place, the Minister ceased to be a Minister.
And why I remind you. In public law, you are in contact with constitutional law today and every day. Mostly because someone wants to take away those constitutional rights or limit them, or at least try. Sometimes even at first glance it may seem like a road full of good intentions, but the opposite is always true. So you learn to be vigilant where many are still completely still.
Mrs. Šlechtová was then run by externally for noble reasons – too many small villages are demanding and it also costs something, in short, by reducing their number, we will achieve a better and cheaper tomorrow. But… What about the beautiful pond we repaired, what do we pass on to the resort village? And the event we do here at Christmas, what if they don’t give us money for it anymore? And what do we shred our beautiful municipal letterhead that we are so proud of? In short, the frightened eyes of the local patriots, who were, however small, mostly directly connected by the umbilical cord, could not be seen from that ministerial chair. We were ready to face the coercive merger. However, I am convinced that if the then government launched a massive campaign in the sense that small municipalities burden us financially, and then tightened up how the big ones pay the small ones, and then even more so that the representatives of small municipalities can never be at the level of the representatives of those larger, and finally said that it would make life uncomfortable for the little ones, we have a few hundred fewer municipalities today.
Healthy trained, power abused
And how does this relate to Radek Hoffman from Lipno in the Ústí nad Labem region, whom I mention at the beginning, and with my right to be pretty in photography?
Just as every municipality, even the smallest, has the right to self-government, which it once acquired, so each of us has the right from birth to the protection of our basic constitutional rights, for example, so that citizens are equal in their rights and dignity. But for several months now, something completely unbelievable has been happening here – unconstitutional discrimination and even public lynching by a group of people chosen by the government, while the very word “government-chosen” is threatening. The group is called “unvaccinated.” The public lynx was declared a situation where vaccination is voluntary and where the vaccinated person is in the same situation as the unvaccinated person – both can have the same disease and both can be a spread of the disease. Thus, there is no defensible reason for depriving absolutely fundamental constitutional rights of people without vaccinations, although government propaganda claims otherwise.
It is a clear abuse of power, where the removal of constitutional rights is driven by an undisguised motive to “make people’s lives uncomfortable” until they succumb to psychological pressure and the JZD, sorry, vaccination center, enters. Morality, law and facts are stolen from ministers. In short, the removal of constitutional rights is a government-organized bullying of millions of decent healthy people who are the only ones who are reluctant to put in the vaccine.
Due to the deprivation of constitutional rights by a government-selected group of the population, the sympathetic Radek from Lipno cannot train children and young people from Monday, November 22, 2021, although he has been doing so as a coach. He ends up, although he could still do a lot of good for those children. And to pay for it a week earlier, I wouldn’t look so nice in my first photo at Reflex because I couldn’t visit my hairdresser before. I am banned here today as a second-class citizen. And if I respected the unconstitutional measures, I couldn’t go to a friend’s funeral these days.
To this end, the unvaccinated are unjustifiably forbidden to enter theaters, restaurants, sports grounds, hotels. That should not leave any of the citizens of this country alone. Perhaps because their children are also losing their favorite coaches, their hairdressers and their friends may not be punching at Christmas markets for the first time in many years.
A country that allows the government to point the finger at a select group of citizens and take away its fundamental constitutional rights without justification is not a state governed by the rule of law. And this very dangerous statement applies to each of us. Because that’s exactly how the totalitarian state behaves. Without respect for the law, without respect for the people. Next time it may concern you.
