jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Minister of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration (Mendes PDTT) Abdul Halim Iskandar (Gus Halim) ensures that the distribution of Cash Direct Assistance (BLT) for village funds is accompanied by strict supervision.

Supervision was even implemented from the start, starting from the data collection stage at the RT level, carried out by three ‘Village Volunteers Against Covid-19’ who were then brought to a special village meeting (Musdesus) for the determination of Beneficiary Families (KPM).

The results are then announced in a public space, so that all villagers can supervise.

“The second form of supervision is carried out by the inspectorate and checked for overlapping between BLT, PKH recipients and food aid recipients, because the main requirement for KPM is to be affected by Covid-19 and have not received other social safety networks,” said Gus Halim, when invited to the Economic Update. CNBC, Friday (16/7).

Gus Halim also said that in the village a service post has been built to report related to the Village Fund BLT.

This command post is always asked to monitor so that the distribution of Village Fund BLT is more targeted.

“So there could be changes to the KPM data, especially since the COVID-19 pandemic is still running, so there could be additions,” he said.

Gus Halim emphasized that the Village Fund BLT is quite effective in helping rural communities and can also have an effect on economic recovery in the village.(*/jpnn)
