Last year, DSV Panalpina had a turnover of NOK 115.9 billion. It is the largest ever for the group.
Although large parts of the world had to shut down last year due to the outbreak of coronavirus, there was still a need to keep the supply chain going.
The Danish transport and logistics group DSV Panalpina has benefited. This is shown by the group’s accounts for 2020, which were published on Wednesday.
In total, DSV Panalpina has a turnover of NOK 115.9 billion.
This is the first time ever that the group has had a turnover of more than DKK 100 billion in the course of a year.
Part of the story is that the company has made several major acquisitions in recent years, which has helped to raise revenue a lot.
The larger turnover last year has meant that DSV Panalpina has earned a total of DKK 4.3 billion for the year. That is 15 percent more than the year before.
According to Jens Bjørn Andersen, CEO of DSV Panalpina, 2021 will be another challenging year for the group.
– But with our strong and flexible business model and the right people on board, we will make sure to keep our customers’ supply chains afloat, says Jens Bjørn Andersen in a written comment.
