East Coast Group has provided necessary equipment and medicines for setting up a 10-bed Covid-19 isolation unit at Kulaura Upazila Health Complex in Moulvibazar.
The medical supplies and life-saving medicines have been donated in memory of the late Mrs. Marina Yasmeen Chowdhury, wife of Azam J Chowdhury, Chairman of the Group.
At the handover ceremony on July 31, 2021, Azam J Chowdhury said that Mrs. Marina Yasmeen Chowdhury was involved in many social welfare initiatives. He promised to set up another 10-bed Covid-19 isolation unit in the future.
In addition to the equipment needed to set up a 10-bed isolation unit, the donated materials included oxygen concentrators and auxiliary medical equipment. The event was attended by officials of the Health Complex, local dignitaries and senior officials of the East Coast Group.
