Unfortunately, we seem to be staying with just wishes. The hesitation and some incomprehensibility of both coalitions are properly used by Babiš and his allies and logically moved to the frontal offensive. They simplify their communication with potential voters to a permanent struggle. The fight is thus becoming a key word before the autumn parliamentary elections.
They fight (as they fight) for something, with someone, against something. The recipe is simple and effective, although it is very often a deceptive or outright deceptive way of manipulating public opinion. But it is true that the purpose sanctifies the means. Literally anything is possible to achieve the desired goal. And so he fights the covid, according to the new government strategy, he is said to be successful. He fights against imaginary migrants, fights for a better tomorrow for seniors, fights for support and subsidies to Czech corporations, ie for the well-being of all Czech consumers and consumers. But, of course, he also fights corruption (of the others, of course), fights the ruling European Union, fights for Czech energy and other independence, fights for higher wages. He simply fights for the votes of the electorate in all possible (even seemingly impossible) ways. These include a proven fight with enemies, even fictitious ones.
The election campaign thus turns into a literal fight, or in our case a free ring. We can be sure that the peak is yet to come. Our restarted prime minister has a very strong motivation. In his situation, he can’t even imagine losing. Why? Because he fights for everything, not only for his political career and power, but also for his business, for his impunity, for his prestige and especially for the interpretation of his era. He will be predatory, he will be aggressive, but according to the notes of his marketers, he will easily play a pity and sensitive protector, a savior, and even a saint, just about anything. Maybe even such a good Czechoslovak uncle.
If his challengers have already decided to enter the ring and seriously think that they will not rule with him after the election, then they have no choice but to put on gloves and embark on the fight, and not only as a real thing. It is not enough to convince the convinced. People often have a short and often very selective memory. They don’t notice who they’re dealing with, or they may not care. And so a small recapitulation of who is who did not harm. And that should be visible. In the other corner of the ring there is someone who does not respect fair play and still pays extras in the stands (and for sure also the referee). Silence and waiting for the repentance of the juice is a sure way to a quick knockout. And then they’ll just count you down. And unfortunately also us with you…
Some opposition proposals and faces are embarrassing, and opponents are taking advantage of this. It then seems that some campaign strategy of opposition coalitions is being formed on an ad hoc basis. This is not the way to success.
This summer is just a prelude to a really hot autumn. The fight will be tough and ruthless. There is a lot at stake, you can’t count on it to turn out nějak Life is also a struggle, accept it.
