Google Play Desktop for PC is now also available here

Google is gradually expanding its beta Google Play Desktop application to other countries, and it just happened to us. You can now download the application to your PC, log in and play games that have been made available on your desktop. There are several dozen of them.

Although during installation, expect that it will also install virtualization on your computer, since the games themselves are played in emulated form. The application itself serves as a Store, where you have a list of titles and the option to download them, and then when you start them, they open in a separate window. Right in fullscreen, but you can change it to any window.

In terms of performance, they work nicely and without problems. It seems more fluid and faster than other emulations. But as far as the offer of games is concerned, it is quite weak. Mostly small puzzle games, clickers, there is not much of the big popular mobile games here. Perhaps the biggest is Asphal Legends or Mobile Legends.

For now, it’s a start with which Google wants to gradually reach the PC in order to increase sales, but the success here is questionable. If they want at least some kind of success, they have to start with the redesign of the entire application, whose listings in the store are completely bad. There are only a few dozen games, but even those are very difficult to search when the list of games is limited to a third of the screen so that they can leave large texts that do not scroll up and empty on the sides.
