Tennis tournament 10 series The New Century of Serbian Tennis for three levels of competitors up to 10 years old, red, orange and green, gathered over 100 children at Karaburms aged six to 10 years.
Through the tournament organized within the program TK Red zvezda i Data-Driven Lab children demonstrated their talents, love for “white sport”, mastery of the basic rules of the game, with the use of mini courts, smaller rackets and lighter balls, with equipment adapted to their age, in the end rewarding both the organizer, parents, coaches and a large number visitors of this children’s competition with a sincere smile and positive sportsmanship. Among the competitors, there was fair play and gentlemanliness typical of “white sport”.
Part of the activities of the tennis club Red star there will also be a free tennis school that will be implemented by the end of May for children aged six to 10.
“A wonderful competitive day at the Zvezda courts. A beautiful sight, crowded fields, over 100 children who took part in this competition. It is an image that makes us happy, which we strive for and work dedicatedly to make it our everyday life. In the world of sports, we have different games, each of which has its own specific rules. Sports are very useful for children, from developing physical skills, making new friends, to having fun, but also building new champions. The strategy of our club is precisely to work on all these aspects, and the goal is constant progress and as many children as possible on the tennis courts” – pointed out the director.
