Glendale (USA) – Hockey goalie Josef Kořenář has moved from the Arizona preparatory camp to a farm in Tucson in the lower AHL. In the Coyotes squadron, on the other hand, another Czech goalkeeper Karel Vejmelka remained with the experienced 35-year-old Carter Hutton, who signed a one-year two-way contract with Arizona in May and set out to fight for the NHL from Comet Brno.

Twenty-five-year-old Vejmelka presented himself in three duels in preparation. In the first two, he took one-third and in Thursday’s general caught the whole duel on the Vegas ice with a 3: 1 win. He collected only twice out of a total of 51 shots. In the extra league, he has 177 matches for Pardubice and Kometa, with an average of 2.57 goals per match, a success rate of 91.27 percent and 14 net accounts.

Arizona won the 23-year-old Kořenář from San Jose on July 17, along with a second-round draft pick next year in exchange for Canadian goalkeeper Adin Hill. Shortly before, as a protected free agent, he signed an annual two-way contract with an income of 750 thousand while working in the NHL, on the farm his salary drops to 125 thousand dollars.
