Test yourself on Challenge Day on May 25th
On Wednesday, May 25th, the country will put itself to the test on the occasion of Challenge Day! The hugely popular, free player – fun day is designed to create a lifestyle full of movement. This year, municipalities, educational institutions, jobs and communities can start for the most sporty title. It is worth applying, as the best will be able to take home valuable prizes and, last but not least, a lifetime of community experience!
Who doesn’t want challenges and competitions, especially if it’s all done in a playful way? The Challenge Day, launched in Canada in 1982, offers just that. No wonder it soon became popular all over the world, including in Hungary since 1991, where it has grown into the largest free leisure sporting event. “Let’s jump together!” The aim of the fun-playing day, organized with the slogan and organized by the nominating settlements, educational institutions and communities and coordinated by the Hungarian Leisure Sports Association (MASPORT) and with the support of Szerencsejáték Zrt. and Kinder Joy of Moving, will be nothing more than daily promoting a healthy lifestyle.
“Challenge Day is a great initiative because it is when municipalities, educational institutions, workplaces and different communities play sports together for a common goal, which is an encouraging for many and, last but not least, very good community building. After the competition and the effort to win, everyone goes home with positive memories, regardless of the outcome. Jump jumping, for example, is also a good community sport, as it can be performed in pairs or teams, while the music is playing and the atmosphere is fantastic. The goal of this day is to be part of everyday life, which is important for maintaining health, managing stress and relaxing. ”- said the ambassador of the event Adrienn Bánhegyi, multiple world and European champions are jumping.
For the most sporty title, lovers of the competition can start in several categories again this year. Entries from municipalities, educational institutions and communities are expected from across the country until May 20th. It is worth applying, as the competition will not only take place for the virtual plaque, but the best will also be able to take home one of the sports vouchers worth a total of nearly HUF 4.5 million! The task will be simple: on Wednesday, May 25, between midnight and 9 p.m., there will be as many activities as possible with the community for 15 minutes to record: the goal is 35 million minutes of movement! This year, nearly two hundred teams of 3 to 8 people entered the workplace category to test their skills between April 27 and May 25.
Challenge Day on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 from 00:00 to 21:00 coordinated by MASPORT! For more information about the event, visit www.kihivasnapja.hu page.
