Game releases – June 2023. A list of all the hottest productions!

May was a pretty good month for gamers. Will May be able to match it in terms of video game launches?

Redfall, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, LEGO 2K Drive, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum – that’s what we played in May. So there was one real gem and a strong contender for Game of the Year, there were some enjoyable games and a few mishaps, but Link’s new adventures in Hyrule definitely stole the show. Will June turn out to be a better month? Very possible – see for yourself.

Street Fighter 6 — 2 czerwca (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, PC)

Street Fighter is the legendary fighting game series that revolutionized the genre. The Japanese series returns with a brand new visual style and a whole host of changes. Capcom finally understood that the future of fighting games and their successes lies in large part in the quality of the network code – and vowed to apply to it like never before. Add to that an extensive hub, a campaign in which you build your own legend, and excellent arcade modes – this production has a chance to surprise!

We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie is a truly crazy and stereotypically Japanese game that takes us on an amazing journey through a colorful and bizarre world. We play the role of a cosmic prince, whose task is to collect items and create huge balls from everything that we encounter on our way. In a game with a truly unusual design, we devour everything from small household items to entire cities. If you want a bit of kitsch and gameplay that you won’t experience anywhere else – be sure to pick up this title.

Diablo IV — 6 czerwca (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC)

Diablo is a brand that needs no introduction. Each subsequent premiere related to it evokes a lot of emotions – although not always positive. Four years after the first announcement, the game is in the hands of players – with new classes, new solutions, new dungeons … and a well-known team of enemies. This time in a new setting and also on a new generation of consoles – and, of course, computers. As Tomasz Popielarczyk wrote in his review, there has never been such a huge and so dark Diablo!

MotoGP 23 — 8 czerwca (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC)

MotoGP 23 is the next installment of the automotive production licensed by the Motorcycle World Championship, offering races in the Moto3, Moto2 and MotoGP classes. If you’re a fan of two-wheelers, you’ll definitely feel at home here – an extensive single-player campaign and thrilling multiplayer mode, a whole lot of current competitors and 70 legendary characters from this championship.

Layers of Fear — 15 czerwca (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC)

Layers of Fear is the next installment of the horror game from the Polish Bloober Team and Anshar Studios. Although the title may be quite misleading, the production is in fact the third part of the series and tells a completely different story – but probably just as artistic, exciting and terrifying, which will focus on a journey into a dark and disturbed mind. In addition to puzzles, intrigue and many other disturbing aspects, it is worth noting that the production will run on Unreal Engine 5. So you can expect great views and new mechanics!

F1 2023 — 16 czerwca (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC)

F1 2023 is the next installment of the series of racing games based on the Formula 1 license. This time, all content concerns the 2023 season, of course – if you are F1 fans, you will be in seventh heaven. In addition to the extensive career mode and experiencing the excitement of this discipline by impersonating some of the most popular drivers, plus the F1 Life and F1 Sprint modules – there is a whole lot of content.

Crash Team Rumble — 20 czerwca (PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC)

Crash Team Rumble is a spin-off of the popular game series, which is focused on multiplayer competition. The production looks like a mix of Fortnite and MultiVersus, in which there are five main characters from striped band games dating back to the times of the first PlayStation. The game for which Toys for Bob is responsible is undoubtedly interesting … but will it manage to conquer the hearts of fans or will it be just a curiosity flying on the popularity of IP? Time will tell.

Final Fantasy XVI – June 22 (PlayStation 5)

A real icing on the cake. Arguably Square-Enix’s most popular Japanese RPG series is back – this time with a new crew. A team that has already shown what they can do with the production of the latest MMO Final Fantasy XIV expansion, which set the bar extremely high for themselves. Final Fantasy XVI will take us to a dark world inspired by medieval Europe, where gems called Mothercrystal are extremely important. Together with the main character, we will embark on an adventure full of magic, fights and dangers. In this part, the creators also depart from the typical Japanese style, focusing on a much cooler climate. This could be Zelda’s main contender for Game of the Year 2023!
