Jure Bostele, the owner of the Bostele family farm emphasizes: “It is important for the existence of Slovenian farms and fruit production to have long-term and reliable partners. At Fructal, however, they go a step further when working with growers, as they always buy the entire amount of fruit produced, which is extremely important for us – growers. Goran Medic, Director of Fructal, adds: “We take local care very seriously, which is why Fructal has been the largest buyer of Slovenian fruit for many years. We buy practically all fruit that is available in Slovenia in sufficient quantities. This means that every year, when the harvest allows it, we buy as much as 5,000 tons of Slovenian fruit: apples, peaches and of course pears. We will continue to be loyal to domestic producers, as we care about the quality and integrity of our products in the first place. We intend to expand the range of products produced from domestic raw materials in the coming years.«

With a glass of Fructal Superior juice 100% Slovenian apple, Fructal Superior Slovenian fruit or Fructal Superior Slovenian pear viljamovka, consumers help to preserve local fruit production and consequently to preserve Slovenian farms. The corona crisis, which brought us so much uncertainty and concern, also highlighted the importance of local production and self-sufficiency.
