The ninth “French Week” was officially opened under the slogan “Lights of Paris on the streets of Belgrade”, which aims to promote historical, cultural and business ties between France and Serbia.

The event will last from November 18 to 24, and the period of the event is related to the French custom of welcoming the young French wine “New Beaujolais”, which was presented to the guests at the opening ceremony.

Pierre Koshar, the French ambassador to Serbia, and Dragan Stokic, the president of the French-Serbian Chamber of Commerce, welcomed the guests of the party, emphasizing their satisfaction because the event takes place live, considering that it was not possible last year due to the unfavorable situation with the pandemic.

As part of the “French Week”, the online employment fair of the French-Serbian Chamber of Commerce has started, which will be available until Wednesday, November 24, and at which numerous French and local companies are presented. Visitors will be able to visit the virtual stands of companies and apply for job advertisements, but also to communicate with HR managers via a chat application.

In addition to the job fair, there is a seven-day webinar for students called “After college I will be…”, intended for their professional orientation.

For lovers of French gastronomy and culinary art, a bakery workshop will be held on November 19, and on November 23, selected guests will have the opportunity to taste selected labels from various French regions at the wine workshop.

A business conference on the environment will be held on November 22 at the Club of Deputies, where projects of companies aimed at preserving the environment will be presented, while on the last day a webinar on electricity prices and how to reduce them with increased energy efficiency and use will be held. renewable energy sources.
