Suara.com – The RW 03 area of Cipinang Melayu Urban Village, East Jakarta was flooded on Tuesday (16/2/2021). In fact, this area was once proud of Governor Anies Baswedan because it is flood free.
Based on information from the Jakarta Kini (JAKI) application, RW 03 Cipinang Melayu is one of the four flooded areas. The water level in that place ranges from 30 to 70 centimeters.
“RW 03, Kelurahan Cipinang Melayu, Subdistrict of Makasar, East Jakarta, the water level is 71-150 cm,” reads the flood information in the JAKI application, quoted Suara.com, Tuesday (16/2/2021).
Anies showed off the flood-free RW 02 area through his Instagram account last February 9. He uploaded a comparison photo of 2017 when it was flooded with now.
Anies in the photo is seen being hugged by a mother named Rusmiati while inundated by a flood as high as her waist. In the same upload, there appears to be a photo of Anies still with Rusmiati, no longer flooded.
“We all should be grateful because residents of the area of RW 04 and RW 03 Cipinang Melayu can experience the rainy season without being flooded,” Anies said in his Instagram statement.
The following is a list of flood areas until 12.00 WIB:
- RW 02, Cipinang Melayu Urban Village, Makasar District, East Jakarta, water level 71-150 cm
- RW 03, Cipinang Melayu Urban Village, Makasar District, East Jakarta, water level 71-150 cm
