Performance by national artists in the areas of music, dance, humor or even mentalism will now occupy part of the intervals of Fox channels, in a project described as “experimental and unprecedented” and in which “all artists had total creative freedom”. “The objective is to create a moment of relaxation, so that the Portuguese can simply ‘disconnect’ from everything”, explains The Walt Disney Company Portugal in a press release about the project developed by the creative team in-house and with production in charge of Velvet.
The Intervalo project, which starts this Wednesday under the motto “We all need a break”, features unprecedented performances by names such as Ana Bacalhau, António Zambujo, Capicua, Dino D’Santiago, Favela Lacroix, Gonçalo Cabral, João Blumel, Maria João, Rita Redshoes or the duo Tochas e Telmo. The performances take place until the end of January in the interval of some of the series featured on the various channels of the group.
