Ford Mustang Mach-E boosts return to market launch – DRIVE

Ford has opened accepting orders for the Mustang Mach-E electric crossover in the United States (from $ 43,895 or 3.13 million rubles), while reporting changes in the passport specifications. In short: in comparison with the previously announced, there are more power and torque for electric motors. Apparently, the specifications for the European version will be similarly adjusted, its sales will start until the end of 2020.

The most dynamic variation, the Mach-E GT, has not changed power (the same 465 metric horsepower as previously indicated in the revised table). However, in the column “torque” it says “will be announced”, although previously the number 830 N • m has already sounded. Sales of the Mach-E GT will begin in the summer of 2021, while all other versions will be launched in 2020.

Mustang Mach-E equipment will include a highway autopilot that does not require hands on the steering wheel, although not from the very beginning of sales, but in 2021. On already released machines, it can be activated by updating the software via the Network.

Modification Standard-range RWD, according to updated data, has a return of 270 hp. and 430 N • m instead of the previous 258 hp and 415 N • m. Standard-range e-AWD version – 270 hp (580 N • m) instead of the previously announced 258 hp (565 N • m). The Extended-range RWD version now means 294 bhp. (430 N • m) instead of the previous 286 hp (415 N • m). And the Extended-range e-AWD option is 351 hp. (580 N • m) instead of 337 hp (565 N • m). The two traction batteries available for Mach-E are 75.7 kWh (usable 68 kWh) and 98.8 kWh (usable 88 kWh). Depending on them and on the motors / drive, the cruising range of the crossover ranges from 338 to 483 km in the US EPA cycle.
