Ford invites Danes to an electric New Year’s shed at your local Ford dealer

At the beginning of the new year, Ford opens its doors and invites Danes to an electric New Year’s shed at the local Ford dealers.

Here, customers can become much wiser about electric cars and charging, and also even sit behind the wheel of one of Fords electrified cars – such as the fully electric Mustang Mach-E.

How far can an electric car drive? How do I charge it? Should I have my own charging station or use the public ones? What is the difference between an electric car and a plug in hybrid? The questions can be many when you as a customer have to deal with a future with an electric car, and therefore Ford’s dealers are ready to help and inform customers on the weekends 8.-9. and 15.-16. January.

– We invite all our customers on Ford’s electric journey with this year’s New Year’s shed. It does not matter whether the customers have previously become acquainted with electric cars, whether they are just curious or are actually facing a switch to an electric car. Our dealers meet customers at eye level and dress them well, so they are well-informed and feel safe on the journey towards an electrified future, says Frank Skjærbæk, CEO of Ford Denmark.

For this year’s electric New Year’s shed, Ford dealers are ready to share their knowledge of electrification and electric cars as well as charging options. As a customer, you can, for example, experience how the car is easily connected to charging with a charging cable, and also gain insight into which charging solution is best suited to your specific needs.

You will also get an introduction to the smart FordPass app, which in the best way allows you to monitor power levels, plan your trip, find charging stations along your route, use your smartphone as a key as well as insight into your driving behavior and much more.

You also have the opportunity to test drive a selection of Ford’s electric cars for this year’s New Year’s shed. For example, Ford’s first fully electric car, the Mustang Mach-E, or the popular Ford Kuga Plug-in Hybrid, which has taken the Danes by storm and has just been named ‘Family Car of the Year 2021’, and which is also the best-selling plug-in hybrid car in Denmark in 2021.

Ford’s electric New Year’s shed will be held on the weekends of 8-9. and 15.-16. January at all Ford dealers.
