Rosenborg and Norrköping have agreed on a transfer for Samuel Adegbenro (25).
This is confirmed by RBK on Wednesday. It was VG who reported the case first.
The wing came to Rosenborg from Viking for around NOK 15 million in 2017.
– We want to thank Samuel for good years in Rosenborg. We wish him luck in Sweden, says sports manager Micke Dorsin club website.
The 25-year-old was good at the beginning of his period in Trondheim, but has become less used over time. He got one match from the start under Åge Hareide.
Adegbenro scored 16 goals in a total of 83 games for Rosenborg. He became league champion with RBK in 2017 and 2018. In 2018 he also became cup champion with the club.
In Norrköping, he gets former Brann coach Rikard Norling as coach.
– We are very happy that we have succeeded in connecting with Samuel. He has played at the top level in Norway for a long time, and he has performed both nationally and internationally. He is an offensive player who will give us additional weight, says Norling to Norrköping’s website.
