Police said there is a risk until the arrest of the two militants snatched from the Dhaka Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) court premises.
DMP’s Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Biplab Vijay Talukder said this in response to a question from journalists at the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) media center on Minto Road in the capital on Wednesday afternoon.
Biplab Bijay said, ‘In order to avoid risk, instructions have been given to all the police units and those who are under border control across the country. Police have asked everyone to be vigilant. Photos of the two militants who escaped have been sent to each police station.’
In response to a question about dandaberi, this joint commissioner of DMP said, ‘There is a discussion about wearing dandaberi in the case of violent accused. Efforts are being made to bring everyone together in one place to avoid cases of accused robbery.’
It is to be noted that the leaders of the banned militant organization Ansar Al Islam (Ansarullah Bangla Team) Mainul Hasan Shamim alias Samir alias Imran and Abu Siddique Sohail alias Shakib alias Sajid alias Shahab were snatched from the court of Old Dhaka on Sunday afternoon by their associates.
Both of them were brought from Kashimpur jail to appear before the court.
