I have told many company clubs, you give them jobs. These disabled people don’t cheat like normal people, they work. You will get much more than what you give them. If we can establish them (disabled) properly, then we will go a long way as a nation. To achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, the talent and skills of people with disabilities must be utilized.

Speaking as a special guest, British High Commissioner Robert Chatterton Dickson said that disabled people are an integral part of society. Their welfare requires concerted action. If their achievements are highlighted through the media, other people with special needs will also be motivated. He praised the initiative of RTV.

In his welcome speech, Humayun Kabir Bablu, Managing Director of RTV, said that besides ensuring the rights of disabled people in the country, many individuals and organizations are working silently for their social and economic inclusion. RTV thinks that if these great people and institutions are brought before the nation, on the one hand, as wide awareness will be created, on the one hand, many more people will be motivated for the welfare of disabled people. And keeping this objective in mind, today RTV is giving the invincible honor-2022.

He said, according to the data of Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS), the number of disabled people in the country is 47 lakh 42 thousand.
