First information about the Fiat 600 Hybrid – Auto-Motor

On the occasion of the world premiere, we only got to know the Fiat 600e battery-electric leisure car, and they promised information about the Fiat 600 Hybrid coming in 2024 – this has now happened. The Italians are aware that the electric transition is not taking place at the same pace on the European continent, for example Italy is one of the leaders in this regard, in these markets it is not yet possible to give up on models equipped with an internal combustion engine. Such is the Fiat 600 Hybrid equipped with a 48-volt self-charging hybrid drive, which has a list price of 24,950 euros in Italy, which is much cheaper than the Fiat 600e, which starts at 35,950 euros.

The Stellantis self-charging hybrid drive consists of a 1.2-liter, 100-horsepower turbo engine and a 29-horsepower electric motor, which are fed into a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission. The 48-volt electric motor is basically responsible for energy recovery and assisting the internal combustion engine, but under certain conditions it can also move the Fiat 600 Hybrid independently – the battery capacity is enough to cover approximately 1 km. Acceleration from 0-100 km/h takes 11 seconds, standard consumption is 4.7-4.9 l/100 km – these figures are still estimates and may change during official homologation. Officially, only 1 image of the Fiat 600 Hybrid was released, the rest were of the 600e equipped with La Prima.
