Find problems in your wireless network with WifiDiagnosticsView

The developer Nir Sofer of the eponymous NirSoft has released a handy piece of freeware: WifiDiagnosticsView allows users to view the wireless network activity of a Windows system and thus also diagnose any problems.

For example, the tool shows all kinds of network-related events, such as scanning wireless networks and making and breaking connections. Failed connection attempts are also logged, with the associated error code and description. The data can be exported in various formats, including txt, csv, json, xml and html.

WifiDiagnosticsView works on all Windows versions from Vista, with both 32- and 64-bit instructions. Thanks to the portable .exe file, the program does not need to be installed, in addition, a Dutch language pack is already available.
