Ferdinand: I believe Habib Rizieq will be sentenced to guilt

jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Former Democrat Party politician Ferdinand Hutahaean believes Habib Rizieq Shihab will be convicted in the case of a crowd in Petamburan, Central Jakarta.

This was conveyed by Ferdinand after Habib Rizieq’s defeat at the pretrial hearing, where sole judge Akhmad Sahyuti rejected all of his requests.

The trial of the pretrial verdict regarding the determination of the suspect and the detention of Habib Rizieq Shihab was held at around 14.00 WIB, at the South Jakarta District Court (PN), Tuesday (12/1).

“I am not surprised to be rejected by the judge. And the risk is that later, I believe Rizieq will be convicted by the judge who will examine this case,” said Ferdinand.

The conviction of the founder and executive director of Energy Watch Indonesia (EWI) was based on the pretrial verdict on the determination of the suspect and the detention of Habib Rizieq.

“Pre-trial is rejected, meaning that the procedure is correct, the evidence is sufficient and correct, so the defendant will be found guilty. That’s my prediction. Rizieq digs deeper holes in his pretrial,” continued Ferdinand.

The man who once led the Presidential Jokowi Volunteer Line (Bara JP) also said that he had suspected from the start that Rizieq Shihab’s pretrial would be rejected by the judge.

“Because of what? Police investigators have worked according to the procedure according to the Criminal Procedure Code. All were followed carefully and no one was hit by the investigator,” said Ferdinand.
