FEMEN activists demonstrate at the Rocío Monasterio electoral college

The Police reduce FEMEN activists to the gates of the electoral college where Rocío Monasterio was voting.

The Police have evicted several FEMEN activists on Tuesday who were demonstrating at the San Agustín School in Madrid, where the Vox candidate, Rocío Monasterio, was voting.

Several videos on social networks have captured the moment in which the agents reduce the activists, who were at the gates of the center with naked torso and anti-fascist messages: “It is fascism, it is not patriotism!” and “to fascism, neither vote nor permission!”.

From early in the morning several queues have formed in the polling stations of Madrid to vote in the regional elections, in some cases more than a hundred people, protected with a mask and almost always maintaining a safe distance.

The 1,084 polling stations in the community have opened at nine in the morning and, being a weekday, many people have taken advantage of the first hour to get closer.

In addition, when these elections are held in the midst of a pandemic, the Community of Madrid has recommended time slots for certain population groups: from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for those over 65 or people with disabilities, and from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. for people with coronavirus or suspected of having it.
