Expanscape has presented the Aurora 7 laptop, the main distinguishing feature of which is the presence of as many as seven screens that work independently of each other.
Expanscape positions this novelty primarily as a working tool for programmers and visual content creators. With it, they can code and edit various elements without switching between them in windows, but only focusing on the corresponding screen.
Such a laptop can be used in other areas. For example, traders will be able to track stock quotes on it, follow the news and communicate with colleagues, without losing sight of important information for a second. The Aurora 7 features four 17.3-inch 4K main screens and three 7-inch Full HD sub-screens. There is also an eighth screen for system notifications, but it is quite small (only 1.44 inches diagonally), so it can be ignored.
The system unit and monitors are powered by separate batteries, but the battery life of this machine is still short – about an hour. The device weighs 12 kg. For carrying, all screens are folded like a transformer.
Expanscape does not disclose the cost of the laptop and does not release it for public sale. The purchase of each device must be negotiated with the company directly, having previously signed a non-disclosure agreement. And we wouldn’t be surprised if the Aurora 7 stands as Tesla.
