eSIM in T-Mobile finally for everyone. Well, almost everyone

The eSIM standard – allowing the use of operator services without the need to insert a physical & hairsp; – & hairsp; card in the phone is being developed very slowly in Poland. At the end of 2018, Orange was the first to introduce it. In August 2020, T-Mobile joined the event, but it reserved this feature only for business customers. Until now.

eSIM in T-Mobile also for individual customers

The operator informs that all subscribers of voice tariffs can use virtual eSIM cards. Both business and individual. Currently, only users of pre-paid offers are currently cut off from the new technology.

To replace a physical SIM card with a virtual one, go to a T-Mobile showroom or contact customer service by phone. A special QR code will be sent to the e-mail address provided during the conversation, which must be scanned from the phone.

Of course, you also need an eSIM-capable smartphone. In Poland, these are primarily iPhones (from XS upwards) and top Samsungi (Galaxy S20 upwards), but the function is also available on individual models of other brands. ESIM chips can also be used by users of selected smartwatches.

Now we are only waiting for the Play network.
